Hello, I'm Janine.

Motherhood photography is deeply personal. I feel a sense of healing in ways I can’t really explain. I get to create these little pockets of time where only love, affection, and positivity exist—an environment where you get to stop thinking about everything else in life and just focus on loving each other.
To me, that kind of space is rare, and being able to hold it for others is incredibly fulfilling.
In my late 20s, I had this realization about how much our childhood shapes who we become as adults and how incredibly powerful a mother’s love is in that process.
It made me see that one of the most important things we can do as humans is to honor our mothers—to truly see them, appreciate them, and make a big deal out of what they do.
Life moves so fast and moms especially, rarely get to step back and see themselves the way their children see them. It's an honor that I get to show them that. And for the children, these images become proof, long after the moment has passed, that they were deeply loved.
So in a way, my work is my way of saying, ‘I see you. What you do matters. And it deserves to be celebrated.’
And when a mother feels appreciated, she pours even more love into her family. And that love, ultimately, makes the world a better place. :)
